Refunds may be made on unexpired permits where no work has been performed and the applicant no longer plans to move forward with the project for which the fee was required. Refund requests should be made in writing.  Approved refunds are processed by the Bedford County Finance Department and the refund check is sent via U.S. Mail and can take 2-3 weeks to be received.
